Description: Photos from the 2005 seminar at the Renaissance Center in Dickson, TN. Led by DG Glen Vanderford, PDG Jimmy Couch and DMC Kevin Barron, approximately 45 Rotarians from around the district spent the better part of a day learning about and discussing enhancement of district and club Foundation giving and Membership recruitment and retention.

Rotarians share time for fellowship and catching-up with friends at the conference. PDG Jimmy Couch discussing TRF and welcoming the Rotarians from across our district of 65 clubs and 3,300 members. The morning session was focused on the many aspects and opportunities for fundraising and support of The Rotary Foundation (TRF).  PDG Jimmy Couch led the team of presenters as district director for TRF. A presentation about the Permanent fund, the fund that is used as an endowment for the good works of Rotary International. Rotarians, including Jackson Rotary Club member, Susan Hayes, listens intently to the presentations for ideas to promote TRF within her club.
A presentation about Ambassadorial Scholarships was also part of the TRF seminar.  Examples of students who have completed these programs were shown - truly inspirational. DG Glen Vanderford and DMC Kevin Barron during the Membership Development & Retention Seminar.  This presentation was punctuated with two (2) roundtable discussions and documentions of best practices in both recruitment and retention of members.
